    making the stand

lucky you to have a new tank and a wood shop to build stand. I enjoyed building stand as much as setting up tank.I had a hard time waiting for poly urthane to dry. I missed some work as you have to keep your priortys in order.lots of sucess in your build.

How did I not see this thread earlier?! Subscribed. :D

This makes me want to get a job, a house, and a dream tank. I got a few more years to wait on that though. Ohhh and my "workshop" room is going to be the absolute shiz.

I'd rather cycle a tank with Chromis than a Damsel...the Chromis are 5 bucks and don't try to eat everyone. We cycled with clowns, but it was more of a 20 mile move cause of the precured rock and LFS water. Only dead stuff in there was in the sand...and fishy poop.

    Lookin good!

that is what I'd always done previously Jwin, I just saw this guy at the LFS and wanted him cause he was a really good color, I have 3 chromis in the tank now but their the purple reef chromis not the normal green/blue ones

Sweet those are beautiful fish. Especially when they mature.

yeah and I really like the way they change colors as they mature wife though it was cool cause it looks like a clown trapped in a wrasse's body, I didn't tell her that it doesn't stay that way :)

Haha that's what I thought too! I thought it was a type of clown in the bag, but then you typed wrasse. I learned something new today. Yay.

You think that's crazy here is an adult pic so you have an idea what we're talking about with their color transformations, this is the red coris wrasse @ about 6" long, they have 3 color morphs in thier lifespan
