Not a bad price, but I wouldn't trust the bulb on any used fixture - buy a new one.

I'm a buy it new type of person. If it breaks you have no warranty and you will be out of pocket the purchase price.

I'm a big fan of the Radium 20ks (which I believe are available in 150w HQI bulbs). Is the unit 150w or 250w?

i agree im also a big fan of the radium halide 20k bulb, the color is perfect.

just be sure the ballast will work with the radium bulb. i had a 150w halide and my ballast didnt work properly with the radium bulb.
and i was running a hq 150w phoenix , but the ballast would flicker with the hq 150w radium.
radium bulbs need certain type ballast's and just because your ballast says HQ as mine did doesnt mean they are compatible.

the pheonix bulbs are very blue if its blue your looking for . too blue IMO

i tried both in my 150 halide. the radium would flicker at times so i removed it. i preferred the radium since i had only the halide bulb and no tother lighting. to me its perfect and doesn't need a thing.
the phoenix i found to be to blue to my taste, its really a very blue bulb and many like it .

now looking for the thread with the photos of the tank with each bulb
