Is my frogspawn okay?

    It looks different from the ones I see in pictures. More transparent, less colorful.

    Is it just a different variety, or is it ailing in some way?

    looks nice and full. im no expert, but prob many different species. mines a little more green but the tentacles are transparent

    Frogspawns come in many varieties and colors. Colors will vary under different lights as well. It looks OK to me. Nice and full. As long as it doesn't start to retract or show the skeleton, you're fine.

    what you dont see underneath john , is the cats sittin on the frogspawn and not enjoyin it. lol

    looks ok but if you want it to darken up a bit put it under more light. It will force the pigment to darken to protect itself. but nice peice

    Hi, it almost reminds me of a variety of bubble coral. What does the skeleton look like?

    my group of frogspawn has 5 heads..the upper 4 are dark and the bottom one in lower light has the same transparent look yours has...so what 10acrewoods says makes sense!
