    It probaly crawled on the crab to clean its shell and the crab released its grip and they both fell off the rock.

    Have you tried turning them right side up? You're tank is to new for them to be dieing of old age. So you might have other problems.

    hey it beats me I had a astria snail and stayed on the glass all the time then one day it was upside down and i turned it over and for a couple of days didn't move from the same place, so i decided to look at it and it was empty, just a shell. Did he ran away?

    Likely a hermit crab ate the snail and didn't want the shell.

    yea its always the same snail but i turn him back over and he is fine

    he hasnt flipped in a while

    Cleaner shrimp maybe? My cleaner shrimp has eaten a dead astraea snail before.
