Is this Normal?

    Curious-

    Have 2 mated clown fish and just added a fire fish....

    The 2 clown fish are going up to the fire fish and digging their noses into the ground and whipping sand at him... They are even doing it away from him..

    Is this normal activity?

    Yup. They are just letting your fire fish that they are the boss of him. Period. Clowns are a bit terratorial.
