Hey guys so my tank has ich but i recently moved and when i resetup the tank i rinsed the sand with r/o water acouple times.

if the ich eggs are on the sand bed and i rinsed it does it mean im free of ich? or do they attach themselves to the rocks and what not?

atm im running my tank fishless for the meantime until i get some answers!

No, you are not free of Ich. Ich cysts adhere to things. So, I'm sure you washed away some cysts, but I bet there are some still stuck to sand particulates.

Keep running it fishless to let it run it's course. Turn the temp to low 80s to help speed up their cycle. The temp won't kill them, that's freshwater Ich, but it'll help you go through the stages faster.
