I know where your coming from. I caught the fish in my backyard(around here that type is bait;D) while I was getting water so I didn't spend any money. I'll toss him back in a few.

probably a good choice, if you want something to watch go with a yellowtailed damsel

Oh, if you didn't waste money on a fish that could potentially die, then I would like to retract my previous statement :). And, in response to Daniel, I do feel that we should be humane to animals, but is it's one insignificant fish that is being cared for.

And congrats on the LR. The top two pics look good, the bottom, I'm not sure what specifically it is. Could be Majano but it could also be harmless polyps. I've never had Majano so I'm not an authority on the topic.

I like how much fuller it looks with the extra LR in it.

Ok, like a month and half later the tank is doing awesome! Still haven't figured out this stupid lighting thing out yet. I still have the two 65 watt PC's on it until I find something. I think I'm just going to get a four bulb 30" T5 retrofit for it and be done with this whole thing, cause I am so aggravated over it.

A bunch of what I think is Xenia that came on the rock. They aren't pulsing, but look alive.
