    well last week i posted a thread about a patch of these things irittating my zaos, and they were thought to be hydroids.

    but now i have another patch pop up on my zoas, these are deffiently not hydroids, something else, you cant tell in the pic but the base is bright pink and with the ones i posted last week they were able to sink in the pink mat, i havent gotten rid of it yet and my zoas are still irritated. But this one does not seem to bother the other zoas, these were closed because my cleaner shrimp was touching them but their open now

    Both have bright pink bases. i hope this is a decent pic for you to ID i cant seem to get any better

    I was gonna guess feather duster too, but I'm not positive.

    i would agree but the pink matts make me question it

    The only thing that bothers me is it appears to irritate the other zoas. Can you rotate the coral to bring the creature into view better?

    I still vote duster. I have some that look just like that in my zoas.

    i cant their on a base and if i were to move the rock, it would tear apart the whole aquascape

    i hope thats all it is, just dont know why its caused some of my zoas to close, they've been closed for like a week now
