    I use the pickling lime trick and it has never failed to work.Mix it real thick like paste,then just squirt it right above them,they'll take it in themselves and shrivel within seconds.You can tell theyre dead cuz you can see slime coming from where they were.

    I guess a pic of the critter(s) will help, I am not trying to be off base but are you sure they are Aiptasia? If so, a "true" Peppermint Shrimp will get them.

    Joe's juice worked great for me when I had that problem some years ago. But I also put a bunch of peppermint shrimps in to help as I had a lot at one time. Between the two they were obliterated and my shrimp didn't seem to bother anything else.

    I just take the rock out and take a knife to bread/cut the rock the aptasia is on off. No matter what you do, don't break them or pop them.
