    so, about 2 weeks go i installed an oceanic sump to my75G everythigns going great. i was just wondering when doing water changes could i just take water from the sump and add new water to the sump ????

    no i dont have a refugium i just use the bioballs

    Me too just a wet/dry but it's going to be torn out and replaced with a refugium soon!

    s the refugium nice like is it more beneficial then the wet dry

    When I used to do WC, I would add the water to the DT and add the top off to the sump. IMO, it doesnt make a difference to be honest. Luna

    I prefer to add to the sump because first off its lower and you dont have to lift as high plus don't have to worry about dumping water in and knocking off corals that aren't attached. Also the water temp isn't always the same so adding to sump it kind of blends in better than just dumping it straight in the top. just my thoughts on it.
