Just Another Gripe

I agree. I'll go one step further and say that no one should have something listed as in stock on their site when it gets drop shipped. The product status should be "drop shipped".

 

Update:

It has been two weeks since my order and I am still fighting with Champion Lighting for information on my order. I am about to go through other means to get information.

I do not recommend Champion Lighting to anyone.

 

Wonder if they're too new to be in stock yet. Either way, they should have let you know.

I had a similar thing happen to me. I ordered a TEK Elite when they first came out. Everyone said they had them in stock, but Sunlight had not produced any, they were en route from China. Over a month later, and no sign of any Elite in stock, so I got the standard TEK. The LFS gave me a couple of free bulbs for the trouble even though it wasn't their fault. When the regular fixture arrived, it was wired wrong and had one dead ballast. It went back for a replacement and I had to wait even longer.

 

I know they are out and available right now. They wer at a frag swap I went to a little while ago.

I emailed champion asking for more information and I did not get a response. However, when I had asked if my ordered had shipped yet about a week ago, they got right back to me. Seems fishy to me.

 

LOL I'm still waiting SIX MONTHS LATER for my Tek.

 

lol What are you doing that is breaking the Evos? I have mine running 24/7 on alternating times on my controller LOL they still work just like new after almost a year.

 

Mine broke too.

 

Nothing, I just let them run 24/7.

 

I called them yesterday. Their new story is that it was backordered and just showed up yesterday and will be delivered tomorrow.

 

15 days later and I finally have my two tunze powerheads. Not as small as I thought they would be, but I am happy with them. I am not happy with champion lighting and supply.
