    Might be silly but is this a possible coral? or macro algae?
    I have two growths on the same lr I have had for 3 months. it's about 1 cm but growing every week.

    some sort of macro algae but im not sure what type to small to tell

    May possibly be a sponge..But i cant really tell. it does not look like Macro algae to me though, Macro algae(from the ones i have seen)are more "leafy" like.

    I would say macro algae over sponge. Unlike sponges, the specimen in the photo is not porous. There are many macro algaes that are not "leafy".

    this is a total shot in the dark from looking at pics, so I bet I got a 10% chance at best of being right, but maybe it's Codium.

    Damon and 2in10 - that is right on the money IMO - WOW you guys are good :)

    It also looks like Caulerpa peltata. It might need to grow a little more to tell.
