Just ordered tomini tang

Im so excited just ordered it will ne here on Thursday then it's going into a 10 gallon qt along with two small clowns only problem is I'm going away this weekend to seem my grandmother and I'm going to put them on an automatic feeder

 

thats not a good situation, hes going into a tiny quarantine with 2 aggressive clowns and you will not be there to observe his and their behavior? they could bully him to death by the time you get back!

 

Has your tank finished cycling yet? Even when it finishes, you def shouldn't add those three fish all at once. Maybe one a week at most.

 

your QT is going to spike hard with three fish. Also the point of a QT is to keep fish separated from the general opulation, not with one another otherwise they just share diseases which with the small confines and ammonia will be readily visible so thats a plus i guess.

 

I looked up the tank size it's a half,moon thing 30 gallons I looked up the model and I have it separated and one of my dads friends who's a expert in marine fish so no problem I also have a large filter not to worried every thing is small so I'm still not worried I will do a water change on Friday and on Sunday when I come backso not worried at all I have done this in the past in the same tank witha bigger tang and a trigger

 

Sorry but that is not a good situation for that poor fish a minimum tank size is a 70gal.
Saltwater Aquarium Fish for Marine Aquariums: Bristletooth Tomini Tang but it will be a beautiful fish while it last. They need lots of room to swim back and forth and sea weed almost daily.

 

Change of plan I'm going to use my 70 gallon tank that I was going to use a a ro tang and use it for my qt and then have the 30 to mix ro water in and then when I'm done Qing I will put the 70 after I clean it and use it as my ro tank so I think it will be okay witha 70 gallon 4 foot corner tank

 

Leitton45 it will be going in my 90 just this is just a qt and it is a 70 so it will be fine
