Keep your fingers crossed for me because I ordered 55 pounds of live rock from Justliverock.com. I saw a bad review about the place and since their prices were so good I decided I needed to check it out further by calling them.

I called them twice and spoke to a Roger the first time last Wednesday and I got a good impression so I placed an order with them to be shipped out on Monday.

The second time I called was late Saturday night after finding more bad reviews from other sites. A lady answered, I can't remember her name, and I expressed my concerns about my order and the bad reviews I've read about their business. She went a long way towards easing my fears.

She said they recently stated the business last year and after advertising with Google they where slammed with business and couldn't keep up with orders and the bad weather hindered their efforts also. She admitted that a few customers fell through the cracks.

She said the weather has been better and they have hired people so they can keep up. (Good to hear someone is hiring)

I hope I didn't screw up - I'll update my results with them.

It's Tuesday - one day after they said they would ship it.

I checked my email after work last night, around midnight, and hadn't received an email with shipping confirmation and tracking number. So I called first thing this morning and spoke to Roger and he said it shipped and gave me the tracking number.

It's on its way, suppose to be here Thursday according to FedEx web site.
I'll take pics and post them when it gets here.

I got my $144 - 55 pound combo box as promised and I'm very pleased with what I received. 10 pounds live and 45 pounds base. The whole thing weighed in just over 58 pounds

The box was in rough shape, but putting it in anything else would of added to weight and cost. But still I think more attention could be paid to packaging.
Even still the rocks as you can see, are in good shape with very little breakage.

They seemed like good people when I spoke with them on the phone, I would buy from them again regardless of some of the bad PR they may have received.
