I have been using Red Sea Coral Pro for over 9 months now with good success. However my lady and I are having twins this winter and with the 3 other kids 5 and under I am trying to make sure my reef makes it though the first six months of the twins lives. I bought a larger SWC skimmer, hooked up and auto top off gravity fed via 5g bucket with Kalkwasser in it to maintain my Ca so my question is should I stop using the buffered reef salt since my Ca is already maintained or will the "buffer" in the salt not hurt? I want to keep using the buffered salt for Mag and Strontium and kH ect.

You can still use the salt. It is a good salt, with really good levels. Not to mention all the trace elements that are in it.

With the K being added, you can go longer... or never do a water change though, as long as you still have good nutrient export.
