I use oceanic too, but my lfs don't carry the 200gal bucket. So, I have to get the 90gal one...more $. :(

Hmm, didn't know they are that much...i am paying a little over $18 with tax for the 90gal. It works out to $0.2 a gal, so 200 gal would cost me about $40. I guess that's not too bad then. Thanks!

I like Oceanic as well! Though it doesn't have added trace minerals like reef crystals, it is cheaper and all I do is add liquid trace to my water. Plus Oceanic has more calcium than most other salts.

FYI, I heard they switched venders...of where they get their salt.

    Any good luck all

What does it mean to "add liquid trace" to the water?

Does it mean that the premium ($$) salt mixes don't really need the extras to be added so after you factor in the "added cost" for extra this and extra that, would that not bring you very close to what a premiuim bucket of salt would cost? Or does this mean that no matter what salt you buy however expensive it is it will ALWAYS lack something?
