So The Kenya Tree had Started To grow off Of my monti, In my friends tank before it was given to me. The way I positioned it in my tank, when its fully open it touches the monti. At night when I Shut off the lights, and it kind of shrivels up, Where it had been touching it during the day kind of looks like its loosing color. Should I remove it off of it, and place it somewhere else?

Katie, can you get a closer shot? A little too far away to tell what is going on there.

Sounds good, there's a lot of glare that is right in the corals path, kind of hard to tell what it looks like. If the monti is starting to turn white where the kenya is touching it, you are witnessing coral warfare. I would probably move it to be on the safe side if it gets worse.

Ive never had to move or frag a coral before. Should I cut it off with a razor blade or pull it off by the rock

I don't see a problem pulling it off the rock as long as you are gentle/careful, they are incredibly tough corals.

Sooo I pulled it off of the monti, I felt so bad haha, If corals could talk I could hear it saying "nooooooooooooo leave me be!" But he had to be removed, There was deffinetly a warfare going on, But I wedged him into a New rock by himself, I hope he survives!

I have a forrest of kenya's, Just from pulling them off the rocks. Its darn near impossible to get ALL of it off. Soon you will have a Kenya forrest growing. One of my mother colonys is a foot tall
