Pic 1,2,&3 is a pic of a plant that is taking over my sunset, no matter how I pull it out it keeps coming back. Any clue to what type of play that is and what will eat it?

Pic 4 is of my yellow fuzzy :)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
That looks like a Turf algae to me. Nothing eats it that I know of.

If it's fern like is appearance it probably Byropsis. Out of the tank it looks like Turf, especially if it's stiff and wire like.

Try dosing mag. If its briopsis it should do the trick. Just have to get your mag levels high enough to kill it. High magnesium should not affect your fish or corals.

Looks like possible bryopsis to me,but raising mag alone will not kill it.You need to raise it with Kent Tech-M,it's a by-product in the tech m that kills the bryopsis not the magnesium. You can raise it by 100ppm per day to 1600 and see if it nips it,if not,i've had to raise it to 2000ppm to work, just did it slowly and no ill effects. After it died,I just let the mag fall back to normal through water changes.Don't pluck it in your tank until dead, you don't want that stuff getting a foothold.

The third picture kind of looks like bryopsis, but it's a little blurry.

Looks like bryopsis to me also.

If you can remove the piece from the tank and apply hydrogen peroxide to the algae, that would kill it within a few days.

at the present time my mag is 1600, I don’t have a problem going higher I just don’t want to run the risk of kill the plant in my sump. so I figure I would try one of two things

    1. Get a small container and put the sunset in it and fill the container of fresh undiluted mag to the line where the plants are growing(being REALLY CARE not to slash the sunset) , which is about mid way to try and kill it off.

    2. do the same as above but use hydrogen peroxide instead
    Thoughts ?

Usr the Tech-M and apply each dose right on the algae. It seems to kill it off quicker.

^^^Right. Do it in the tank with the pumps off for a while, 10 or 15 minutes. The mag sinks quickly, so reapply it slowly over time.
