i have a kole tang about 3 1/2 in long and a neon dottyback that think they are king of the tank. i have 2 types of damels 1 each, longnose hawkfish, clownfish, diamond goby, striped bleeny, and a coral beauty angel. the tang and dottyback wont let out wont let the goby out of its hiding place. should i get rid of these? i have had the goby for 2 weeks and tang/dottyback for a month now. i wanta see the goby more but like i said the tang which is the biggest fish i have and the dottyback feel like they r the kings of the tank. its a reef tank by the way. and input would be greatful. thank you.

That is the nature of the Dottyback. As is matures it will probably get worse. Beautiful but an aggressive personality.

    Good luck.

Most Pseudochromis are aggressive, at least they have been for me. If you google Dottyback aggression it seems to hold true. I would take it back if you want a peaceful tank.

The tang I can not address, I have never had a Kole tang.

The tank is borderline for your tang. Remove the dottyback if you want to see you goby.
