Some people wouldn't like me for president because the first thing I would do is shut the borders down and give all the illegal one year to sell what they have and get out before I send the law after them.....:stop:

Well see you're more liberal then me.. I'd give them about as much time to sell their illegal gotten gains as the Govt. would allow me time to sell my stuff off before going to prison for tax evasion :) or drug running.. Or a hate crime LOL.. Round them up give them a box of Taco's and put them on a south bound greyhound..

Whoa, sounds like somebody needs a hug. Maybe even a couple of people...

    I can't say I disagree though.

So can anyone tell me what it means when an acro browns out? Is it just light acclimation shock in general or is it more specific like too much light or not enough???

I've had a blue digitata brown out and that frag Scott gave me off of that green staghorn?? sp. browned as well...

Can be any of the things you mentioned but I wouldn't fret over it much. If your water is ok and your lighting isn't terribly stronger or weaker than the lighting that the corals were originally kept under, they should color back up for you in a few weeks.

Just wanted to give an update...

The blue digitata I had brown out has regained it's blue color and then some! I have a feeling it was a bit stressed before I even added it to my tank becasue it's looking better than it did when I bought it!

I'll try and get some pictures tonight...
