Forgot to mention that the tank is water tight and all drained waiting for rock work tomorrow. I'll get some pictures.

Why wouldn't you want more heat??? Heat is a fun thing to deal with!! I'll have to run by tomorrow.

Not really worried about who has more light, I know mine is plenty enough for anything I'll ever have in there, that's all I'm worried about. Plus, it will work for my 120 when I get it up and running here in 25 years! Yours is deeper... plus 4X the size I would hope you would have an extra light!

You had better be putting in some ventilation in that basement too if you want to keep the wifey happy.

Who? She ain't the boss of me. ;)

Ottmeister I got the strainers glued on to the overflows last night. I know it's not much progress but as you can imagine things have been busy knowing about 10 people that just lost every worldly possesion they have.

Depending on what services are needed I might start putting some rock in the tank tonight.

Started putting my rock work together last night. Hard to make it look like I see it in my head. Got epoxy all over my hands... :(

Well guys and gals I got my rock work done in the display tank and started filling the 180 back up Friday night. It's taking forever and is still filling today. :(

I think the water pressure in Columbus isn't what it should be becasue of the recent floods... making the RO unit run a little slow.

Also got my base sand in the fuge. Won't add water to it for some time but wanted to get a fill for how much sand I'd need in the fuge. So far I've got 50 pounds and the sand bed is only 3.5 inches. I know I'm in no man's land with that depth but I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. If I add more sand the water depth is only going to be 5 or 6 inches but if I don't add more sand to get to 5 or 6 inches I'm not going to get the benefits of a deep sand bed.

Just need to figure out which way to go...

You will need to come get some sand to start the bacteria once you get the tank full. Just let me know when you are ready as I may be running in town that night. Your RO unit will probably only run about 55 to 65 gal a day due to water temp. It will run 100g per day if the water is 74 deg going in.

Where is the damn pics.....I'm calling Luna...... ;)
