Sorry I haven't been online in a bit Annick. From the time I started a saltwater tank I wanted a pair of mated clowns hosted by an anemone. After having to start over stocking my tank I picked up a pair of black and white clowns for my big 30th b-day. ;D I found a very healthy green carpet for a good price and decided to take the chance. So far so good but I'm sure in time my green carpet will have an expensive snack. If the clowns don't take to it in a few months and I catch it moving I'll take it back for in store credit. Maybe I'll try something less aggressive like a rose BTA??? So far after a month or so the clowns have shown no interest... I guess time will tell...

 

Actually, a carpet anemone shouldn't roam if it's "happy". The problem with them is that they have a very powerful sting so even if a fish manages to get away, it might likely die from its injuries. I wish you luck though and hope that you don't lose any critters. I really love carpet anemones but don't dare put one in a community tank.

 

So far so good. It's taken root and hasn't moved. All of the fish stay away including the clown fish...

I'm bring my Naso Tang out of hypo starting this weekend. It should be introduced to the display in a little over a week after that. Hope it doesn't go "carpet surfing"

THEIR time?? You and Kris are both ahead of me when it comes to meetings!! I was the one that tried to get the March meeting going; we even have a new member and no meeting!
