Wow, looks like you made out like a bandit Kris! The tank looks great!

PS. And it also looks like you're in the market for a new scooter

 You're not the first person to say that. I posted a picture of Roger as a baby on my Facebook which proves that fact even further. There's absolutely no reason for me to drag him onto the Maury show

Well bad news gang, I woke up this morning to soggy socks. Either my Ocean's Motions valve sprung a leak or the plumbing connected to it did. I don't know how much water my auto top off put into the system to compensate for the leak overnight but my salinity went from 1.025 down to 1.017. This is on a system with about 240 total gallons.

The good news is when Otty designed this closed loop on my system he put shut off valves on every input and output of the closed loop (6 total) so I was able to shut the pumps down, close the valves, and still run the tank.

So far I think I might loose about 2/3rd's of my coral. I've already lost my cleaner shrimp and my blue linkia that I've had for 3 years. The fish all seem fine but they are able to handle a drop in salinity a lot easier than inverts and corals. Still doing damage control. We called a company in today to dry out the basement and they pulled 30+ gallons of water out of the carpet. GOOD TIMES!!! :bigcry:

Thanks buddy. We had to call a flood clean up company to come over and pull as much water out of the basement as they could. They also treated the carpet with some chemical to inhibit mold growth.

So far the only 3 coral I've lost for sure are my elegance, a nice piece of sunset montipora (my favorite piece) and my cup coral (one of the originals pieces of coral i bought when starting this hobby in 04)

Things have seemed to stabilize a bit in the tank and I've got the salinity back up to 1.022.

I'll try and keep you all updated. Been a while since I've been on the boards... :-/
