    It's not good to run them on a wavemaker unless u have the controllable pumps turnin them on and off alot tears them up pretty fast I had the same problem so I finally bought 2 mp40 from Vertech and they are awesome

    The Evolutions are meant to run on a wave maker, but they can still run backwards but if you get a hold of hydor they will ship you the new parts so it doesn't I have one that did that and I'm in the process of getting a new part.
