Lace Rock Question

    I bought about 20lbs of lace rock from my LFS, can i just rinse it of and put in my tank or should i clean it?
    Also how would you recomend cleaning substrate?

    It is dry stuff right? You can just run it under water to get the loose stuff off.

    If it is just dry base rock then you can run it under cold water until any dirt, dust, etc. is rinsed off. Then you're good to go!

    If you're not in a rush, I would also soak it in RO water for a few days :)
