do they really eat green hair algae. i've been battling gha for awhile now. i've bought a reactor for and run ferric oxide in it and it seems to be helping but its not gone yet. so will a lawnmower blenny take care of the rest of it.

also is a sea hare a good idea. i hear they can go kamikaze and nuke the tank. i would like to avoid that if possible. ;D

i had one that went ape s**t for film algae but wouldnt touch hair algae. sea hares eat it until they die i never had one last over a week. the thing that destroyed it for me was foxface.

Urchins love GHA. You could try a tuxedo urchin, they stay small.

You can try the sea hares if you can get any, and you could try a VERY small foxface, you can try some blue leg hermits, but the reason why most people get GHA in their tanks are lack of Water changes and high phosphates, most of the time above 0.5, so i would cut back on your feeding...if your feeding any corals...I would stop that also. Fish can get away without being fed for 3-4 days...And if your system is old enough and large enough...you dont really have to feed the tank, because of Copepods and natural food sources, i only feed my tank twice a week.

zoo, i do 25% water changes every other week. i've cut my feeding quite a bit and i've even done 25% water changes every week for a few months. nothing seems to work. all my levels are good and all my corals are healthy so i don't really know what else to do.
