I have a 32" lcd that is now in my bedroom that I've had for around 2 years it's ok, I have a new 50" samsung plasma that absolutely blows it out of the water though, as far as the people remarking burn in, the new plasmas have anti-burnin technology built in, also if you break them in properly you eliminate that issue as well, the color richness in plasma just blows lcd out of the water though just my $.02

The color is one of the main things that has me leaning towards plasma. That and motion blur is less, and I like a crisp image!!

that and plasma's price has really come down a lot, a buddy of mine got a pioneer 50" about 3 years ago and paid nearly 4k for it, I got my 50" samsung for $800

See, I think Circuit City is still a ripoff. The only way I am going to get them down far enough is if I buy one the last day they are open. I think I'll just keep my eyes peeled for sales at other places.

The camcorder I bought less then a year ago is going for cheap there now too, and I made the STUPID mistake of buying a 2 year warranty from them for over a hundred bucks. Not only did I later realize I shouldn't have done that, but now I won't even get my full warranty that I paid for:angry:!!

Warranty is through a 3rd party so still valid even after CC closes its doors.

Panasonic hands down still makes one of the best plasma's in the industry. If you want to go LCD, I'd go with one that has 120Mhz refresh rate. The black contrast is better as well.. Esspecially with gaming or sports.

I hope your right, I talked with someone who works there and he thought it would be void... but then again that is about like talking to someone who works at Petco on how to set up a tank;D:p. I haven't looked at the paperwork yet. Figured I would wait and see if I even need to use it... probably not.

I am 99.9% correct. Read thru the paper work and I believe it was on there website as well. It will make the warranty process alot more difficult but its still valid.

Circuit City still has higher prices than BestBuy and Amazon.com. Check them out now and you might be surprized by the prices.
