Where can I buy good quality (not outrageously expensive) LED lighting that runs on 220v? I'm moving to Dubai and want to order these ASAP to take with me, but I'm having trouble finding them.

    Thanks for the help.

buy from china, the price will be great (chinese products are all over the world now), and you don't have to wait for the light and bring it to Dubai from US, because the chinese factory can send it to Dubai from China by UPS or DHL, like they send pkg to US.

What I am worrying about, is quality, if you can find a good chinese factory, it will be fine. However, there are thousands of chinese suppliers, it's quite difficult to tell which one is good, reliable, also payment is very risky.

Here are a few things to consider.

First check to see if the fixture can run dual voltage. It is a lot more cost effective for a mfg to have a fixture that could run both vs mfg two different versions, but you never know. If it has an adapter/transformer see if you can get a 220V version or most adapters/transformers already can run at 220V and just needs a very simple cable.

The universal travel adapter would work, but you need to check what the Watts & Amps that the fixture will require. This adapter can handle 275W at 110V & 2.5 Amps. Though I like the typo on the package. The back of the packaging states it can handle 500W at 220V and the adapter has it stamped 230V 575W. LOL.. You always want to be under the max rating. They make converters as well, but again using more power..

One thing to consider, equipment running 220v is a lot more cost effective & the reason why the rest of the world runs at this voltage.
