    Since you have the light, call marineland and complain. I wouldn't think you would need a receipt. Worth a phone call to try

    For a fish only tank I don't think it'd be that bad but it wouldn't light the tank to the point where I'd like it. And for the money that it cost most people would be better off with 2 par fixtures that are out. I told a friend of mine that bought one he shouldn't of and he was going to put it on a 90 cube I think its is I just know it was like 20in deep and was planning on keeping corals. I laughed and said it'll never grow anything he wants to keep. He started going but but I was going nope nope. Then he's like what if i get another, I tried explaining it just doesn't have the penetrating power.

    i opened light and all metals were low grade perishable metal no alum silver or light gold coating just cheap tin about 20 dollars worth material

    Not surprised. I've pretty much come to the conclusion that marineland products are junk
