So I was changing my lighting timer last night and I made a huge mistake. Long story short the lights have been on since 2 in the afternoon yesturday. It is an LPS/Softy tank. What should I do? Keep the lights off for a day? Not do anything? Some of the coral is not looking very happy, but nothing looks horrible.
    Thanks

sps corals start at the bottom and lps high with lots of flow and light. thats my plan anyways. sps are low light meaning not intenseve(sp) but lps need lots of light and flow.

think you got this a little backwards, small polyp stony (SPS) corals need higher lighting and love high flow, Large polyp stony (LPS) dont require as much light or as much flow.

and yes to the OP I would say leave the lights off for a day although I have left my lights on (timer stopped working) and just continued on with my regular light schedule with no major problems. Some of my corals were a little unhappy for a day or 2 but perked right back up.
