I was wondering how many hours per day do you guys recomend keeping my fuge light on? Currently I have been running it 24/7 but does it really need to be on all day and night?

I just started to run mine 24 hours and have noticed a huge difference. But like robman said you can offset the ph difference by running them offset your tank lights.

I run mine reverse the tank lights, helps on keeping the tank temp down during the day.

It depends on your macro population. If you have caulpera, 24/7 lighting is recommended. Chaeto can be on reverse that of your DT.

What difference did you notice, was it good or bad, and what type of macro do you have in your 'fuge? I'm in the planning and material aquiring stage of my 'fuge.
