Light questions

I am setting up a 40G breeder tank for my brother and his intentions are to have a small reef tank. I was shopping around for an inexpensive 36", but worthy light that will be able to maintain some corals, nothing extreme. If anyone has any lights to recommend i am all ears. thanks

Odyssea is a good brand that is decent priced. I have 2 of them and have never had any problems.

 

whats your budget?
what are ya gonna want in the tank? FOWLR, sps, lps, clams etc?

A 4 bulb system will work. The Odyssea should work fine on a 40 breeder.
