Ditto here on what Reefsparky uses. I've 4 timers by Intermatic and one with dual outlets for the 2 plugs for the lunars. I've the MH's (150w x2) running on a timer as well as the fuge light and the power compacts.

i brought for myself, after just starting up in the hobby and not being able to turn the lights off at the same time every night, a digital mains timer from were i work and thats lasted me now 10 months the only annoying thing is to protect it's self from a power surge it turns it's self off and you loose what you've programed in it but it only takes a min to re-do and they very rarley ever happen its normally only when i have to unplug something that takes a lot of power e.g. my UV which is normally left on all the time and i can have upto 20 diffrent programable sets each to which you can have set weather you want to use them or not

I also had a Coralife timer stop working after only a few months. They are junk. I now use three timers from Target. They cost less than $5 each.
