    I have a 6 bulb T-5 lighting on a 55 gal 48 long. I want to upgrade to
2/150MH bulbs. Just the bare bones with no t-5 or pc or moonlight's. Anyone have any idea where to get something like this. I found one at reefgeek's but it is about 500.00 with 2 fan's and shipping but would like to see if there are any cheaper. I know reefgeek is a great place, I'm just looking for the cheap way out. Or even LED.
    Thnx for your time.

that kit comes with the drivers. the only thing you would need is a large heatsink and a means of how you will attach the leds to whatever way you are going to hang them.

The driver's are included. You'd need to buy heat sinks. Mike and Eric began offering pre-drilled heatsinks in various lengths not long ago.

I don't understand heat sync's. Will this be good enough for my tank with LPS and SPS. and softies?
Or should I stick at MH?

because of the amount of power those little LED's put out, they get really hot. The heatsink spreads the heat across a larger surface area making the temperature lower and making it easier for the heat to dissipate and not melt everything around it.
