*20 gallon All-Glass full deluxe hood lighting fixture

My light will sometimes flicker, then, sometimes, it may turn on. It is a T8
15 watt bulb, and I just replaced it with another one and the same problems occur. Why does this happen and how can I get this to stop, or in other words, how can I get this to turn on? When I first got this fixture, this wasn't a problem, but now it is. This dang light will not turn on when I need it to turn on!

You will need to make sure all on the wires are connected tightly and in good shape. Make sure the contacts are all in good shape. Sounds like wither a shorting issue or the ballasts are going. I would suggest getting another brand of light since you are having repeated problems with your current one.

This was a problem with the bulb that the fixture came with, so therefore, I got a better one(bulb) and it is a different brand, but same problem.

If you have the same problem with different brand bulbs it is most likely an issue with the fixture then specially if the new bulb worked right for a bit.

I just made the decision to try to find a new fixture, because this has been a pain for me, physically and mentally. Thanks

Ya, that's the best thing you can do. A single t8 fixture that size shouldn't be very costly. Curious, for that size tank, assuming it is fish only with a t8 bulb, have you considered LED's? There are some really great advancement's in technology going on right now. Just a suggestion!
