I have a 55 gallon tank. Right now its just a clean up crew and rock. I eventually want to be able to keep a nice assortment of corals. I have seen that some people have used this brand called fishneedit, they caught my eye because of the low prices, because I'm trying to save as much money as possible. Has anyone heard anything about these fixtures? Are they worth it or should i spend a little more on the lights?

ive never heard of this brand. what are the specs on it in regards to wattage mostly. its understandable trying to save money , but lighting when keeping corals can possibly be a huge mistake if trying to be frugal.

+1. Lighting and skimmers are the things not to skimp on (If you have to skimp on anything)

Heard of it, and have read up on it, but no hands on experience.
Someone on here got one within the past month, but I can't remember who. Will try to find the thread.

you would be fine in regards to the wattage to keep most corals. kinda iffy on sps tho. as far as the actual manufacturer of the lights and their quality and reputation , i have no idea.
