Hi I just picked up some new lights at my LFS. Each bulb puts out 65 watts. One bulb is a 50/50 bulb and the other is a regular daylight bulb. It looks alot less bright then my old hood was. The guy at my LFS said that the plastic cover that covers the lights just floats in there. I am wondering if i should go and pick up some little legs to get it out of the water.

I would never trust a floating light fixture myself. I wonder if there was some misunderstanding.

It has a plastic cover to keep water from getting in and it has a little plastic thing on top to keep it from moving
