Do yall think a 36inch tek fixture will be ok for a 48 inch aquarium? IM getting a good deal on a 4ft tank and wanted to know if this will be ok for it as im not getting lights on the 4ft

It would be fine. That way you can keep lower light corals on the ends. The main thing is mounting the 36 on the 48. That may be a problem if your not hanging your lights.

I use 60" T5's on a 72" tank and it works great. My setup is a retrofit tho so it was very easy to get above my tank in a canopy.
