    Has anyone experimented with lighting their tanks 4-5 hours at a time, twice a day instead of 8-10 hours at a time? We've heard some rumors that the corals like this more, but haven't seen any first hand evidence. I'm curious if any of you have tried this and what your opinions are on it?

    I have heard it mentioned as a way to help control algae, but not to help with coral growth.
