I run my actinic lights 10 to 12 hours and the daylights 8 to 10 hours and the moon lights on when all the rest have gone out.that gives me an hour or so of dusk to dawn in the morning and evening.

as far as brand and k value i use 14 and 20 k and actinic,as far as brand that is a personal choice. i use a cheaper brand bulb and change them every 4 or 5 months but thats just me.

moon lights are just LED. They use almost no electricity. Mine are on whenever my main lights are off (basically all night).

I run my actinics (blues) from 830-830 and my whites from 1115-630
