lighting ?

    they need time to acclimate to the new lighting. I would cut your photo period to help them adjust. Then slowly bring it back to normal

    Stony corals require much more than just metal halides. The water must be pristine and calcium, alkalinity... etc. But all that aside, I would leave the actinics on the schedule that you have now and turn the mh's on around 11 am and turn them off around 8:30 pm. They don't need to be on for 14 hours a day.

    I agree with diver.....corals have to be acclimated to light just like fish have to be acclimated to water.
