    Yup atinics are good, and they provide that nice blue tint, if i can suggest a bulb i really like the reflux 12k or hamilton 14k, the 12k is better for growth and the 14 is a lil bit bluer, i perfer the 12k with atinics

    The hood we have has everything built in to it ( 4x46" VHOs at 95w a piece) with two glorified planks of wood over the top. The whole thing is completely enclosed, so we definitely have heat issues. We use an old SPS skeleton to prop one of the boards up to create a vent. It cut down heat problems tremendously; we didn't even add a fan and it brought the temperature down 4 degrees!

    Just an idea for you to take into consideration while you design.

    I think he would be fine if he installed 2-4 fans on the ends of the hood, i like them as all exhaust fans to pull out the heat, do that with four small computer fans and your good to go

    Yea i built a hood /canopy for the lighting but it has good room so i should be fine for now but i have not ye kept the lights on long enough to determine any heat issues here are some pics,
