I have a current light fixture it has 2 65 watt pc lights one is actenic and the other is a 10k. Do you guys think I would switch the 10k to a duel 10k actenic bulb... I heard that it would look better and that coral would like that setup better tank is 40 gallon by the way..

What kind of coral are you keeping?

If you explored the 12000K or 14000K for your "daylight" bulb, together with existing actinics, your corals will 'pop' nicely. Going up in the numbers for your daylights means going bluer.

I see maybe I will do that I currently do not have any coral other than some live rock hitch hikers but soon will be trying some small frags.... Hey guy's kinda a side question but what would be the easiest thing to keep that will host a false perc clown?

Your best bets are the following: Heteractis Magnifica (AKA Ritteri or Magnificent Anemone), Stichodactyla Gigantea (AKA Giant Carpet Anemone) and Stichodactyla Mertensii (AKA Merten's Carpet Anemone).'

If I were you, I would avoid the carpet anemones for obvious reasons. They are far too big for your set up. Look into a smaller Ritteri and see what you can find. However, just know that it is one of the more difficult anemones to keep and can still outgrow your tank. You have a chance with other anemones, but the chances of success are diminished.

Just for kicks, you could try a Condy anemone and see if it works. I did that with my Maroon clown (because I didn't know any better at the time) and it worked like a charm.

Now, before you go out and get an anemone, your tank should be very, very mature. I would wait till it is a year old and then get one only if you have the lighting to support it. PCs will not do. T5s are good.
