Little white bivalve

    I have a little off white bivalve of sorts in my tank. The crazy thing is it was crawling along the back wall of my tank...I never knew these things could move. It's only about 3/16" - 1/4" long. I would assume it's harmless, but you know what they say about "ass-u-me". Pictures are hard to get, but any ideas would be much appreciated.

    Edit: A picture. Ignore the shrimp I used my baster to suck the little thing out for a photo and they must have been stuck in the bulb.

    Yes, it's harmless. I can't tell you which species from that view, but most of the little white climbers that turn up in aquaria are either Barbatia or Acar species, in the family Arcidae.
