Hey Everyone- Aquascaping/live rock. Against the back glass or in the center of tank?

Mine is in the center of the tank so I can clean the back glass more easily. Just asking because I will need to add more rock.. my 120 has about 130lbs of rock.

It doesn't matter if you don't bother to clean the back glass 8).

My 90 reef has the whole structure against the back wall. It doesn't matter if I clean it because you can't even see the back.

I don't clean the back or the sides. Completely covered with coraline. The only problem is that my astraea snails prefer the glass. So, if a rock is touching the glass they leave the rock pretty much forever. Weird.

I think it's a personal preference. My background is blue and I want to keep it that way.
So I positioned my rocks to keep the back wall clean. If you look at page one on my tank thread you can see how the rocks are away from the wall.

I personally like the coraline algae growth on the back glass, it looks more natural as a backdrop. However, outside the esthetic reasoning, the mores surface area covered by coraline = the more spores of coraline will spread, this will means scraping the front glass more but also more LR covered with coraline.
