OK, so my live rock was a good solid green where the purple was not.
After buying 3 large Mexican Turbos and adding them, they were able to remove the fuzzy algae stuff that I had on a few rocks. So that was good.

I noticed that more and more of the green covered rock is turning back to the white that it was originally.

So my question is, can the snails actually scrape off the green coating on live rock or is something else going on ?

the snails "given time" will littlerally eat the rock clean of green algae.
You might add one more to help the other little guys continue their work.

    Wow thanks.

Never had the Mexican turbos before, these things are like lawn mowers.
Good to finally get rid of the green rock , (From my High P4 days) though.

Maybe I wont get any more. Dont want them to run out too quick.
