    it be scrubbed before it put into the tank as i have some peices with long white grasse strands,i chose those rocks because of the unique shape of them.

    Yes, you should scrub the rocks off before they go it. It helps knock the dead chunks off. I would say the exception of this is if you got it straight out of another set up tank. If its something you got in the mail there will be die off.

    You may also want to let it cure in another tank as it will release a lot of debris. Once it stops you can move it in to your tank
