    Hey, I am upgrading to a gallon aquarium from my 30 gallon biocube. I have 40lbs of aragonite sand (not live) and 20lbs live sand; but i was wondering if i should get like a cup of my biocube sand to help seed and cycle my tank, along with uncured live rock/.

    tank = 50g

    I took water and sand and did notice a huge diffrence when starting my 75 up. It seemed the cycle time was almost nill. But some will say it don't work. It did for me
