Well, I got two more rocks today for my tank. They both have several of these anemones on them and I'm hoping it's not a type of aiptasia. There's one larger one on the back of one rock but it's on the side of my tank near the wall so I can't get a clear shot, it looks like the others but with a bit more color on the tentacles, brown/orange in color, which is the typical color of aiptasia I've seen.. What do you think ?

Eh, great. Is it something I really should remove or can I leave them and just keep them in check ?

What's the lemon juice procedure ? I assume just squirting it into the anemone like i would with Joe's juice or kalkwasser paste.

    Okay, I can do that.

I saw somewhere, I think it was here that Peppermint Shrimp will take care of them as well. Is there any truth to that ? I do have one in my tank.

I've read that they do, I have no experience with them...but I have read that some people have success with this method...some don't if the shrimp is being fed well. Starve the lil bugger so he has to go after them pests :)

Okay, I only have one and I normally feed him. I'll stop feeding him and see how that goes. If he doesn't try to eat them I will try the lemon juice method.

    Thanks, wish me luck. :D

Good luck...and I've heard that when injected with the lemon juice if you get them...and you gotta be quick...they will give off a poof of a cloud...don't worry...the lemon juice in small quantities shouldnt hurt your water params...

    GOOD LUCK!
