i feel i am abusing my thread making powers :p but i must ask;)

ok so here is my question (s)

I moved my frogspawn to a lower place on my tank because it wouldnt extend as much as it used to because it was getting too much flow, will he be ok? it is only a 29G so the change isnt that drastic other than the flow.

Also, If the frogspawn extends much like he used to he might touch my favia brain.. which is no good correct?
so i would have to move my favia to another location, which is higher up and with twice the flow. would that be ok

.....for anyone that wants to know, i did this at night so my clownfish from attacking me;D maybe this tip will be helpful for some people..

can you please restate your question in a more direct way, also leaving out any rhetorical questions? I'm kinda tired and must be reading at a 1st grade level.

    um.. ok:p

is it ok to move my frogspawn to a lower place on my tank?
and is it ok to move my favia brain to a higher place in my tank with higher flow.
    This is only a 29G.

OK I think I honed into to your first question, you asked if it was ok to move the frog spawn lower. I assume you are essentially asking if it will get enough light. Hard to say for sure with out knowledge of your lighting and tank size, but probably it will work out.

second question, its hard to say again as high flow for you may not be high flow for me. I would move it up slowly and watch how it reacts(over a few days)

Yes, and I'd be careful not to give the Favia too much light. It would be better at the bottom.

well essentially yes. But i was just wondering if the sudden change may have a bad impact on the frogspawn/ favia
I apologize if i am going in circles.. im also tired and not wording myself correctly..:-[

flow wise, i have 2 maxi jet rated 600gph.. and the favia would be a few inches under the direct flow of one. unless it is a bad idea..

The frogspawn should be pretty much bullet proof, but I have less experience with the favia.

When did they start making 600gph maxijets ;D, you mean maxi-jet 600's

If its a few inches outside of the flow it will probably be ok, if its a few inches away the maxijet shooting right at it, I wouldn't do it.

Not IME. I don't even put most of mine under the light fixture. I'm getting very good growth and colors, but I target feed a lot. I think some can tolerate more light than others.
